BAREFOOT - Jimmie I., 69, Berlin, died May 24, 2007, at DeVine Inn Care Home, Salisbury. Born June 12, 1937, in Somerset, daughter of Albert and Mabel (Speicher) Foy. Preceded in death by parents; husband, J. Paul; granddaughter, Angela Grace Meyer; brother, William C. Foy; and sisters, Alice Stanton and Jayne Bowman. Survived by children, Joseph Barefoot of Johnstown and Jayne Meyer of Berlin; grandchildren, Jason, Jacob and Joanne Barefoot and Mark Anthony Brauer; great-granddaughter, Nevaeh; and sisters, Ethel Wolf and Evyleen Kuchinski, both of Ligonier. Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown, where service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, the Rev. John Emig officiating. BEIHL - Elizabeth "Betty" Ann, 82, formerly of Johnstown, was welcomed into Heaven on Nov. 27, 2006, in Chandler, Ariz. Betty Ann was born Sept. 14, 1924, at the home of her maternal grandmother in East Taylor Township to Hay andMarguerite "Peg" Williams. Preceding her in passing were her parents; son-in-law, Edwin Adams; and grandson, Kyle Beihl. She was a loving wife and devoted mother and grandmother. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, David E. Beihl; children, Kathryn Adams and Gregory (Pamela) Beihl, Tempe, Ariz.; Roger (Diane), Las Vegas, Nevada; and Susan (Richard) Morgan, Chandler, Ariz.; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. She also is survived by her brother, William H. Williams Jr. (Leah), Johnstown; sister-in-law, Marge Saler, San Diego, CA; and several nieces and nephews. Betty Ann enjoyed family celebrations and sharing stories of her life. Alongside her husband, Betty Ann was a civic volunteer in Arizona, registering voters and delivering Meals on Wheels. . Her love and compassion extended beyond Arizona's borders as a loyal prayer partner for many ministers of the Gospel. A funeral service was held at 10 a.m. Friday in Tempe, with burial at Arizona National Cemetery. The family would like to thank Hospice of the Valley for the care they provided. THOMAS, Lynn Elaine (Cauffiel), 87, Chandler, Texas, passed away Nov. 18, 2006, in Tyler, Texas. Born Dec. 29, 1918, in Conemaugh Township, daughter of late Alexander and Lucinda (Rhodes) Cauffiel,. Preceded in death by parents; husband of 65 years, Denton R. Thomas, whom she married Sep. 11, 1937; brothers, Edward, Norman, Millard, and John; sisters, Mary Horner and Ann Blough; two infant grandsons, Bryan Pitts and Eric Fyock; and son-in-law, William Karl. Survived by sons, Denton R. Thomas Jr., and wife Susie Marcelle; and Shawn, and wife Jaymee; daughters, Connie Fyock; Gaye Ray, and husband, Allen; and Vicki Karl; seven grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Attended Conemaugh Township schools and graduated from Ferndale Area High School. Was a retired Avon sales representative. CLARK – Ronald, 67, New Paris, died Dec. 16, 2006, at Pennknoll Village. Born April 15, 1939, in Scalp Level, son of Cyril and Ruth (Wirick) Clark. Preceded in death by parents and brother, Robert. Survived by wife, Minnie (Whysong), whom he married March 29, 1967, children, Ronald Jr., married to the former Shonda Morse, Ryot; Bill, married to the former Lisa Harvey, Eugene, Ore.; two grandchildren; and brother, Barry, Schellsburg. Retired after 30 years’ service as a truck driver for Pepsi-Cola, Johnstown. Member of the Alum Bank Lutheran Church. He was an avid tractor collector and restorer. He also collected key chains. COACHMAN – Iris H., 70, Springdale, died Monday, Dec. 11, 2006, at Harmar Village. She was born Sept. 25, 1936, in Johnstown, daughter of the late Max and Alverta Rowser Barefoot and lived in Cheswick and Springdale. She formerly was employed as a nurse’s aid at many local nursing homes and was a member of the Springdale Presbyterian Church. Survivors are husband, Walter Thomas Coachman; three sons, Thomas G. (Deborah) Coachman, New York; Neal F. (Christine) Coachman, Natrona Heights; and Jeffery L. (Christine) Coachman, New York; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; one sister, Susan (James) Thompson, West Virginia; and two brothers, Joel (Linda) Barefoot, Washington, D.C., and Danny (Charlene) Barefoot, Moon Township. Preceded in death by parents; one daughter, Christy Ann Coachman; an infant son; and two brothers, Wayne and Lynn Barefoot. Friends were received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Charles B. DAVIS, Edwin Lowell, age 74, of Quarry Road, New Paris, died at 4:34 AM , Friday, June 8th, 2007, at home.
Lowell was born in Johnstown, PA on Thursday, June 9, 1932, son of the late Edwin and Mae (Ickes) Davis. He was a Truck Driver for ABF for 39 years, and a member of the Teamsters Local in Reading. Mr. Davis served in the U.S. Army in the Korean War, and was a member of Bible Truth Assembly Church, Queen.
He was the husband of Beverly A. (Diehl) Davis,whom he married on September 17, 1953.
In addition to his wife he is survived by Son- Michael J., husband of Rena (Wright) Davis, Lilly; Daughter- Jo Ann, wife of Byron Crosby, Pottstown; Daughter- Teresa L., wife of James Wright, New Paris; Brother- Gary Davis, Bedford. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren-Warren, Jocelyn, Michelle, Melanie, Cassandra, and Laura.
He was preceded in death by brothers-Dwayne and Robert, and a sister Barbara Egolf. A funeral service will be held at Jack H. Geisel Funeral Home, Alum Bank, PA. at 11:00 AM on Monday, June 11, with Rev. Paul Canner officiating.
Interment at Bedford County Memorial Park. Friends are invited to call Sunday 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 PM

Robert Cauffiel Lovingood, 70, of Bethlehem, Pa died on Friday June 15th at his home where he lived his whole life.Born in St. Luke’s Hospital, Bethlehem, he is the son of the late Clyde R. and Helen (Cauffiel) Lovingood.He graduated from Hamilton Elementary, Moravian Prep, Mercersberg Academy and Babson Institute. He studied at Harvard University during the summers. Although he studied civil engineering and business, he became an educator, teaching math at several of the schools in the Lehigh Valley.He was a member of the Sons of the American Revolution, Barefoot Reunion, Devon Horse Show, Antique Cadillac LaSalle Club and was active in preserving old bridges such as Bickel Bridge which was made of cast iron and moved to Sand Island Park in Bethlehem, Pa.Survivors include his sister Rebecca of Bethlehem, cousins Jane Cauffiel Thomson of Oberlin, OH; Richard Tomb, Eleanor and Phil Cicerchi, Gretta Tomb, DDS., all of Corning, N.Y; Harris, Lou, Branham, Craig Lovingood of Sweetwater, TN; Samuel and Ida Wee Lovingood and David Kefauver, VMD. of Madisonville, TN; Cary Finn, MD and Margaret Finn of Memphis, TN; Grace and Catherine Coombs of Boca Raton, FL, and Meade Thomson of Tokyo; and Donna Cauffiel of Johnstown, Pa. and good friends Richard and Mary Wilson of Bethlehem, Janet and Moe Newcomb of Rochester, NY.A visitation will take place on Tuesday, 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., at Connell Funeral Home, 245 East Broad St., Bethlehem followed by a funeral service at 11:30 a.m. There will also be a Service held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday at Henderson Funeral Home, 215 Central Ave. Johnstown, Pa. followed by burial at Baptist Freewill Cemetery in Jennerstown, Pa.Memorials in Bob’s name may be made to Best Friends Animal Society, 5001 Angel Canyon Road, Kanab, Utah 84741-5000, or to St. Anthony’s Guild, 4 Jersey St., East Rutherford, N.J. 07073-1012.
Robert was the photographer at the Barefoot Reunion for the past ten years. We will all miss his kindnesses and his support of our family reunions.

SAUERS,III, Paul J., formerly of Johnstown, died Tuesday morning, September 19, 2006, at York Hospital. He was 44. He was born May 15, 1962, in Johnstown, to Mary (Hlavaty) Sauers and the late Paul J. Sauers Jr.He attended St. Mary's Byzantine Catholic School in Johnstown and graduated in 1980 from Greater Johnstown High School. He received a bachelor of science degree in Civil Engineering in 1984 from the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown.
In his professional life, Paul worked for four years at Hinks and Locher in Johnstown, then moved to York,where he joined the engineering firm of C . S. Davidson Inc. In his current position, he was the company's Gettysburg office manager and served as the engineering representative for numerous municipalities in Adams and York counties. Member of St. Mary's Byzantine Catholic Church, Johnstown, and the Johnstown Rod and Gun Club. He was an avid hunter, fisherman, and golfer. In his younger life, he sang in the church choir and had a wonderful tenor voice. In addition to his beloved mother of Johnstown, he is survived by two sisters, Barbara A. Sauers of Easton, Md., and Paula Jean Rehn and her husband, Mark, of Wexford, Pa.; a brother, William F. Sauers and his wife, Kathleen (Kellagher), of York; nieces and nephews, Allison and lan Rehn, Steven, Andrew, and Joseph Sauers, and Margaret Smith; aunts and uncles, Betty J. Brown and her husband, William of Johnstown, and Michael Hlavaty and his wife, Shirley, of South Plainfield, N.J.; and numerous cousins. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the John W. SELLERS, Jessica R. , age 24, of Bedford, PA , died at 11:35 AM , Tuesday, May 29th, 2007, at home after a courageous battle with anorexia. Jess was born in Bedford, PA on November 9, 1982; she was the daughter of Jim R. Sellers of Bedford, and Valerie G. (Grubb) Cessna of Clearville. She is survived by her stepmother Beth (Kirchner) Sellers of Bedford, and stepfather of Ben Cessna of Clearville. Jesse was a secretary at Ritchey, Ritchey, and Koontz -Bedford, and was affiliated with the Chestnut Ridge Independent Fellowship Church, Fishertown, PA.Jess was a Pittsburgh Steeler Fan; she enjoyed riding horses, and loved playing softball. She played softball for Bedford High School and then for Frostburg State University. In addition to her parents, she is survived by Paternal Grandparents- Bernie, husband of Helen Sellers, Bedford; Maternal Grandparents- Ernie and Gail Grubb; Step Sister- Becki, wife of Kevin Kifer, Clearville; Step Brother- Glen Cessna, Clearville. She was preceded in death by a Paternal Grandmother-Donna Lee Sellers. A funeral service will be held at Louis Geisel Funeral Home, Bedford, PA at 11:00 AM on Friday, June 1st, 2007 with Rev.
