90th Barefoot Reunion Plans for Barefoot Clan

Some specials things will be available for the 90th reunion.
1. Silent Auction—Bobbie Woodley will still run a flea market/craft table. We are asking you to make a contribution to that if possible. If you want a lowest bid placed on your item, please indicate that with your item..
2. Vicki Erdley will order a Barefoot Family shirt if there are at least 12 orders for one. It will be a shirt with a collar.
3. As a fundraiser, we will be auctioning off some exciting baskets. One of those, for instance, will have all chocolate items. There will be a lowest bid, and then you can keep outbidding the last person on the list until it’s over.
4. Newsletter renewal will ask for a $4 donation.
5. The commemorative book will cost $12 if picked up at the reunion. Cost will increase if mailed.
COMMEMORATIVE BOOKLET FOR THE 90TH READY

Well, the Barefoot girls were at it again. They spent many hours this summer putting together 90 years of memories.

Vicki Erdley got the ball rolling by typing up all the old minutes, and Sylvia Sonneborn added the newer ones and cut out some of the routine facts from minutes.

Sylvia Coleman got the book started by putting together a lot of the first reunion and old information. Then Sylvia Sonneborn, Betsy Hawthorne, and Vicki Erdley began to copy and add more information, especially some of the Hammer line. We sprinkled in some pictures of the present reunion goers.
Then there were pictures of the reunions throughout the year.

Before long, 150+ pages were ready for the press. But we will not be making any extra copies. This is a “once and done, so you must order your copy if interested by July 20, 2007.
